OVERVIEW

Kvarstad Farm is located on a rural and idyllic hill in the cultural landscape, 20 kilometres north of Hamar. This is a farm in full operation, and with a history that can be traced back to before the Viking Age. Confirmations, weddings and other social functions are held in the newly restored main building dating from 1750. The fireplace lounge seats 30 guests, and two adjacent function rooms can accommodate 18 and 12 guests, respectively.

Menu and farm produce

We serve traditional dishes based on ingredients from the farm and the local area. The farm also makes and sells its own chocolate confectionery, ice cream, sorbet and traditional ‘tynnbrød’ flatbread from the farm shop, which is open year round. We also sell local produce like potatoes and fresh vegetables when in season. During summer season, you also are welcome to a relaxed coffee break either in the shop or on the terrace.
